"Noraneko" Prints

Our shop/pen name comes from part of the artist's name (Nora) and the Japanese word neko, which means "cat." In Japanese, noraneko means "stray cat" - which is fitting, considering our shop's muse, Pilaf!

As a stray cat leaves pawprints behind, we wish to leave our own mark with our art prints

Logo

The vertical logo is made up of a floral motif, a cat face, and the Japanese Katakana characters for noraneko - which complete the image of a cat drawing on a sheet of paper.

The logo's soft colors, painterly lines, and floral/cat imagery tie back to the colors and themes seen in a number of Noraneko's original pieces.
